Here I am at 11 weeks. This is 100% no sucking in, for those of you who questioned the last couple of pictures! We just show it how it is over here. I have a feeling this might be growing in the next few weeks. According to the Anderle scale, I’ve put on a few pounds already…it’s hard to tell…some days I am absolutely starving and other days I couldn’t really care less about food.
The nausea is getting a little better but I still don’t feel quite like myself. I’ve been able to eat a little more variety of foods, but cheese, other dairy products (except yogurt), chocolate, Mexican food, hot things (like temperature hot) kinda gross me out. The cheese thing is very disappointing. I was telling Seth the other day I’d really like some Lunchables but only the cracker and meat part!
Lunchables…one of the great inventions of our time.
The dogs are very excited about the arrival of their new sibling, obviously! Sometimes I wonder if Maggie can sense something because she spends a lot of time with her head on my stomach. Plus, she follows me around the house everywhere. She’ll be a good big sister. Tucker will also be a great toy when our child is old enough to appreciate being pestered.
But otherwise, everything else is great! I was even able to run about a mile and a half today which felt really good. I’ve been getting a little more energy the past couple weeks so I hope that only gets better. For awhile at least.
This week starts a 3 week stint of doctor’s appointments. Stupid, I know. I have a check-up this week, just with the doctor. We have our 12 week ultrasound next week, and then a follow-up appointment the week after that. Sheesh! I always said I loved doctors so now I guess my wish is coming true in full force!
Rachel also came to visit for a few days this past weekend. Ah, to be young and on Spring Break. No responsibilities. What a life! I mostly drug her around on errands with me, we got a pedicure, and took her to dinner before she had to head back to College Station. Thanks for visiting us, Rachel!
Ok, that’s all. I had to post twice today because I felt guilty for lack of blogging. Perhaps we’ll do some gardening next weekend and I can take pictures of that.
Lame. We are getting very lame.
