You might remember this post where I discussed my greatest achievement to date.
Becoming a regular at Starbucks.
You know you’re jealous of the people who have “the usual” or get a “Hey Jack!” when they walk into a restaurant.
Well, be jealous because that person is also ME!
I don’t think I’ve been to my Kroger Starbucks in many many moons…probably not since February. All due to a small little thing called morning sickness. But once I got over that I think I just forgot how good caramel macchiatos really were. Sure, I’ve had the occasional drink but always at other locations.
So I promise there’s a point to this.
I decided to go by this morning and who was working, but my favorite barista. Thinking she surely had forgotten me, I ordered my drink. She looked up and said, “ooh you’re changing it up today??”
That’s when I knew I’d left my mark. The “half-decaf” apparently threw her off. Then we had a little chat about my due date and babies and hot summers and off I went.
Yes folks, I’m living the high life.
I wonder how many times I have to go before they’ll just let me cut in line. Or have my drink ready as I walk in the door…
Maybe I will get a “Send Mary to Starbucks” blinkie for the side of my blog where people can click to donate. That way I can really put 100% effort into this little experiment.
